The officer was taken ill and collapsed while at his desk at Milton Keynes Police Station and despite efforts to resuscitate him he died.

Joe joined the police in 2004 where he was stationed at Milton Keynes working on patrol and neighbourhood duties before joining CID in October 2015.

He is survived by his wife and two young children.

Died 3 May 2016, aged 55.

Attending an emergency call late at night to a hotel in Newhouse, Lanarkshire he became unwell and collapsed, dying in the early hours at Wishaw Hospital.

Dougie joined Strathclyde Police in July 2010 after two years as a Special Constable and was working at Community Policing in Bellshill.

He is survived byhis wife and adult daughter.
