Sgt Charles TuckerDied 16 December 1910, aged 46 Sgt Robert BentleyDied 17 December 1910, aged 36 PC Walter Charles ChoatDied 17 December 1910, aged 34 Shot and fatally wounded trying to arrest a gang of armed burglars. Posthumously awarded the King's Police Medal for Gallantry. PC John Pharaoh SmithDied 20 January 1913, aged 40 Killed while directing traffic when he was knocked down by a motor bus. SC Henry Thomas GodrichDied 30 March 1915, aged 50 Found dead in a taxi after finishing 4 hours point duty on a cold night. Died 9 September 1940, aged 65 Fatally injured by enemy action at the City of London Police Hospital.
