Died 25 December 2018, aged 39

Died of a brain injury sustained 4 December during an operation on a shoulder injury which he had received during the arrest of a violent man on 9 May 2018.

Joseph, a former teacher, joined the force in 2009 working on response teams and support unit at Hackney before joining the Territorial Support Group in 2016.

He is survived by his wife and two sons and his parents and sister.

Died 26 December 2018, aged 24

Thames Valley Police

Died whilst travelling home after a night shift at Milton Keynes when his car left the road and collided with a tree near Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Dan joined the force in 2012 as a Special Constable and was appointed full time constable in 2014, working on Uniformed Response based at Milton Keynes.

He was survived by his parents, his sister and her family, and his fiancee.
