2008 LEST WE FORGET
Killed in a road traffic collision while travelling to report for duty at Aylesbury, in the early morning, when her car was struck by another vehicle, which crossed the carriageway travelling in the opposite direction on the A413 at Hoggeston. Dee was appointed in November 2003 and joined the CID in 2006 working on the Priority Crime Team at Aylesbury where she was recently commended for an off duty arrest. She is survived by her partner, a serving officer, with whom she had been expecting a baby; her mother and stepfather, her father and her sister.
The four officers died together while responding to a call for assistance from other officers in the early hours when their police vehicle lost control and struck a wall before bursting into flames near Warrenpoint in Co. Down. All four officers were based at Kilkeel police station in the Newry and Mourne District. Kevin

Killed in a road traffic accident while travelling to report for duty at Bournemouth, in the early morning, when his vehicle left the road and crashed into the wall of a bungalow at Highcliffe. Ian was appointed to the Force
in January 2000 and since January 2007 He is survived by his parents, his sister and his partner.

traffic accident while responding to an emergency incident Glen had joined
the Force in September 1980 and was an experienced traffic officer He is survived
by his wife, their daughter aged 24 and son aged 20 years;
Killed in a road traffic accident while going on duty in the early morning, when the unmarked police vehicle he was driving left the road and plunged down an embankment on the A38, at Menheniot near Liskeard. Kevin joined the
Constabulary in 2002, after serving with Thames Valley Police He was born in Scotland and is survived by his parents and older brother.
While travelling to report for duty at Wakefield in the early morning his car left the carriageway and collided with the central reservation on the Wrenthorpe Bypass when he collapsed and died having suffered a heart attack. David was appointed
in 1990, serving in Huddersfield and Wakefield before He is survived by his wife, son aged 18 and daughter aged 16 years.
Fatally wounded when he was accidentally struck in the chest by a single shot, discharged from a shotgun carried by a colleague, during a firearms training exercise in a disused factory in Newton Heath, North Manchester. Ian was from Burnley,
he joined Greater Manchester Police in 1997 He is survived by
his wife, their daughter aged 4 and son aged 3 years,
Killed in a motorcycle accident, whilst travelling to report for early turn duty at Hammersmith, when he crashed on the M1 motorway near Staples Corner. Noel had completed 24 years service
on uniform patrol and the Territorial Support Group He is survived
by his wife and two daughters aged 17 and 14 years,
Killed in a road traffic accident while travelling to report for duty at Colchester when his motorcycle was in collision with a car near East Bergholt, Suffolk. Bob had 26 years service, working with the Metropolitan Police before joining Essex in 1989; he was the Colchester Town Sergeant and was commended 3 times for his work. He is survived
by his two sons aged 20 and 15 years, his mother and brother,
